If you are busy & need a quick and easy breakfast idea that taste amazing! Make Acai cubes to save yourself washing up & time.
Ingredients
1.5 cups of frozen mixed berries
1 cup mango
2 frozen bananas
Acai powder
Milk of choice or coconut water
Our silicone ice cube trays
Chai seeds 1 Tbsp
Protein powder (if desire) - not recommended for children
Directions
1. Put all ingredients in the blender.
2. Add liquid of choice
Tip - (It is important not to add too much as we want it to be thick and creamy! However as we are freezing the acai mixture as cubes. You can add more liquid then you usually would! Add as much liquid as you would need depending on what blender you're using)
3. Blend all together.
4. Pour the mixture into our ice cube tray and leave to set. I fill mine up to 60 ml! (if you dont have a powerful blender i recommend doing 30ml.
Now, Lets make an acai!
Next time you want to make a quick acai bowl - grab 2-3 cubes at 60 ml and blend with your liquid of choice! Then add all your toppings. It's as easy as that.
I use a vitamix blender, which is super powerful. If you're having trouble blending add more liquid, and slightly defrost the cubes.
